Marc & Alice was born out of a crazy idea and a good pinch of Italian passion – for all those who have always wanted to breathe a little bit of La Dolce Vita and street style into their wardrobe. If you are looking for something that expresses expression, passion and that certain “feeling”, then Marc & Alice is the right place for you!

Marc & Alice was founded by Silvia and Markus - a German-Italian couple who met in sunny Mexico while studying. Their shared passion for sustainable fashion and entrepreneurship led them to create Marc & Alice - a German-Italian fashion brand that combines exactly the best of both worlds. Because, let's be honest, who could say no to a touch of German pragmatism paired with Italian style?

And the name? It should be personal and timeless. And what could be more natural than combining parts of your own names? So simple and yet so meaningful: "Marc & Alice" not only stands for the two creative minds behind the brand, but also for their shared vision - to combine style, quality and personality in every single product. So a spontaneous idea became a name that today stands for everything the two are passionate about.

Silvia

Silvia is the Italian component – the creative and emotional half. With an unfailing sense for the latest trends in fashion and the unmistakable Italian street style, she brings the essence of La Dolce Vita to each of our designs. Although she is the quieter one of us, her temperament and outstanding communication skills have ensured that we work only with the best suppliers. Silvia is the silent force behind Marc & Alice, bringing our vision to life with style and passion.

Markus

Markus, on the other hand, embodies the German component - practical, operational and with a healthy dose of stubbornness. Once he sets his mind on something, it is almost impossible to dissuade him. But it is precisely this persistence that has brought us forward. His meticulous control and ability to deal with new and unfamiliar topics are indispensable to our success. Without Markus' determined commitment and attention to detail, we would not be where we are today.

Our story seems to have been woven with the threads of passion and a good dose of perseverance. Each pair of tights is a chapter in itself, stories of setbacks, getting back up and finding one's own vision. Yes, you heard right - even your tights have their story.

We know that many people feel the same way: we always have to overcome new obstacles and suffer setbacks. We kept telling ourselves, let's do it anyway. And so we decided to print the statement "I will do it anyway" as one of our first statements on our tights.
